Ever looked at a river and wondered where to begin looking for fish and how to catch them?  Look no more when booking an afternoon of wading and fishing on the Rio Grande with one of our knowledgable guides!  With prolific hatches that range from salmonflies to drakes, golden stones to all different kinds of caddis - the dry fly fishing on the Rio can be tough to beat at times!  Nymphing can also be an incredibly effective technique when wading on the Rio, especially in the fall!

Our experienced guides will get you on the best water avaialable within our guiding permit on the Rio Grande, which runs from Upper Coller State Wildlife Area down to the town of Del Norte.  All fly fishing tackle is provided in the cost of the trip, however lunch is not provided with half day wading trips.  Please specify in the notes section of our online booking if you would like to book a guide by name, if you have a specific stretch of water in mind, etc and we'll see how we can accomodate you!

Half-Day wading trips in the afternoon typically last from 1 pm to 5 pm, but these times may vary based off of factors such as the weather and the quality of fishing.  Please arrive about 10 minutes early (12:50 pm) in order to fill out waivers, take care of any necessary payments, get to know your guide beforehand, etc.
