Float Trips

Our premier and most-popular fishing trip - enjoy a full day of floating and fishing on the Upper Rio Grande with one of our knowledgeable guides!  With prolific hatches that range from salmon flies to drakes, golden stones to all different kinds of caddis - the dry fly fishing on the Rio can be tough to beat at times!  Also, floating the Rio allows you to cover more of the water effectively and increase your chances of success.
Our experienced guides will get you on the best water available.  All fly fishing tackle is included in the cost of the trip.  Please specify in the notes section of our online booking if you would like to book a guide by name, if you have a specific stretch of water in mind, if you have any dietary restrictions or preferences, etc. We offer one of Colorado's finest float fishing trips available! Our guiding permit on the Upper Rio Grande goes from Upper Coller State Wildlife Area downstream to the town of Del Norte - over 20 miles of fishable waters and covering all of the Gold Medal section of the Rio Grande!

Full day trips run 8 hours on the water and includes lunch.  Half day floats run for 4 hours on the water. Your guide will contact you prior to your trip to work out details and starting times.
